Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled TIG and MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and welding aluminum parts using a MIG and/or TIG process. This role also includes performing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities

• Setting up welding machines based on manufacturing requirements and using a Welding Procedure Specification.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Ensuring work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Following, creating, and helping maintain Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Operating machinery used in the production process.
• Assembling items as instructed by the supervisor.
• Upholding all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Performing other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience with aluminum and/or stainless steel.
• Previous AWS certification preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to identify and measure material.
• Ability to produce quality products consistently.
• Knowledge of machine and tools, including their designs and uses.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also independently.
• Supervisory skills a plus
