Attention all wine enthusiasts! We're seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Tasting Room Manager.

As our Tasting Room Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping the party flowing and the glasses clinking. You'll oversee all operations at our Woodin Creek location to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. You'll be the master of all things wine, confidently guiding our guests through our wine-tasting experiences and educating them on the nuances of all our wine offerings.

But that's not all - you'll also work closely with our team to coordinate events, tastings, local business outreach, and special promotions. From live music to food pairings, you'll help us create a lively and welcoming atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back for more.

To thrive in this role, you should be a people person through and through. You'll need to be comfortable engaging with guests from all walks of life and building relationships that keep them coming back for more. You’ll provide leadership, and motivation for your team, and assist in creating a work culture founded on our core values and consistent throughout ANC. You should also be able to work independently and think on your feet, quickly resolving any issues that arise and keeping the wine flowing.

Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
•  Work with the management team on regular promotions and events
•  Work with the management team on sales and marketing incentives
•  Attend management team meetings
•  Work with the Assistant Manager to create agenda & lead monthly Tasting Room staff meetings
•  Ensure the Tasting Room meets all goals
•  Keep up to date on procedures, sales tips, event updates and other pertinent information to aid sales and improve efficiency
•  Perform all duties relating to payroll and reporting
•  Communicate Tasting Room issues and status to the Assistant Manager and COO
•  Account for daily sales
•  Assist the Assistant Manager in the direction, planning, and coordination of winery events as needed
•  Work with Tasting Room staff to manage the guest experience ensuring a successful Tasting Room workflow and operation
•  Work the sales floor to connect with guests and club members and to set an example for team.
•  Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts
•  Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are properly followed
•  Manage POS, WineDirect, Ving Direct and accompanying systems with the ability to train staff on the systems
•  Manage shipping and retail staff
•  Ensure that all Tasting Room staff follows responsible hospitality standards at all times
•  Give direction to staff and delegate responsibility as needed
•  Resolve guest concerns/complaints using good judgment, professionalism, and courtesy
•  Manage Tasting Room budget and ensure that the budget is met
•  Maintain a friendly, warm and clean tasting room environment (inside room and outdoor areas)
•  Work with Assistant Manager and COO to create and execute engaging, educational, and memorable positive guest experiences that build brand loyalty
•  Nurture an atmosphere of teamwork and enthusiastic employee relations among the Tasting Room staff
•  Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information and/or situations and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
•  Perform efficiently in a fast pace environment, utilizing multi-tasking and leadership
•  Will be requested to attend occasional special events and tastings outside the winery
•  Ensure, by performance and example, that Alexandria Nicole Cellars’ culture is consistently supported in all business and employee interactions; which includes both ethical and legal aspects, complying with federal and state laws and company policies and procedures
•  Write and manage team schedule and day to day staffing needs
•  Manage Tasting Room inventory, logistics, and facilities including managing the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the tasting room
•  Oversee weekly/monthly wine inventory (transfers, ordering, physical counts) and resolve issues as they arise
•  Responsible for weekly bank deposits and nightly cash balancing
•  Register team for offsite events such as wine walks, outdoor festivals, or other pouring opportunities. This includes but is not limited to attending those events, staffing them, •  ordering, selling, and delivering wine offsite while ensuring all laws and compliance are being met.
•  Attend Woodinville Wine Country meetings and events to promote ANC brand with community
•  Manage Wine Club for Woodinville Tasting Room (work with Wine Club Manager in Prosser)
•  Work in conjunction with Wine Club Manager and Management Team to plan and prepare for successful Wine Club Releases
•  Audit and oversee new wine club signups and ensure policies are being followed
•  Perform other duties as assigned
