Cliff Creek Cellars is seeking a self-motivated, positive, and energetic person to work in our tasting room. Experience in sales, wine, and/or hospitality in a service focused organization is highly desired. Good team working skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to have fun while doing an excellent job are essential. We are currently seeking a part time person to work 3-4 days a week. Applicant must be available on weekends. This job has a base hourly rate, bonus and wine discounts. There is opportunity for growth and more hours in this job.

Responsibilities include:

•  Greet and interact with tasting room guests

•  Effectively educate visitors and staff about our wines and winery history

•  Educate guests about wine club and procure new memberships

•  Prepare small plates as needed for guest enjoyment

•  Enthusiastically meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals

•  Maintain a clean and safe tasting room environment for guests and employees

•  Stock as needed to maintain merchandise and wine inventory

•  May also include working both on & off-site special events

Job Requirements:

•  Must be at least 21 years of age

•  Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis

•  Must have top-notch customer service skills

•  Must have a valid OLCC Service Permit and an Oregon Food Handler’s card or the ability to get certified within 30 days of hire

•  This is a part time position and requires flexibility. Willingness and availability to work most weekends, as well as holidays and some evenings are required

•  Must truly enjoy wine

•  A general working knowledge of wine and wine service standards is a plus

•  Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
