Registered Nurse (RN)

Rome, NY

Fusco Personnel is recruiting for contract Registered Nurses to join one of our clients located in Rome, NY. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity!

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Injections for clinic clients and complete necessary documentation; make medication sheet for each client that gets injections
Track required monthly lab work on spreadsheet
Submit lab work into the REMS system
Fax lab work to pharmacies if requested
Ensure EKGs are done as required
Complete Metabolics on clinic clients and complete necessary documentation; make any referrals and linkages that are needed
Complete Health screens on clinic clients and complete necessary documentation
Maintain spreadsheets for injections/health screens
Triage calls
Review RHIO hospital notes and brief relative staff
Answer calls from the Medline and process requests/handle issues with Scripts, side effects, etc.
Coordinate/advocate care with medical PCP’s and specialties
Call doctor’s offices and lab sites to get lab results, medical notes
Call hospitals to get reports on the clients that have gone to the ER or are in-patient
Obtain Prior authorizations, and handle insurance issues regarding medications, (mostly injections)
Maintain AOT binder
Assist prescribers with various tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State

Salary

$60/hr
