A medical facility is seeking an Insurance Biller to work part-time 15 to 20 hours each week.

Job Duties:

Verify Insurance, demographic information, and explain benefits to clients and patients
Record and reconcile payments
Follow up with clients regarding unpaid balances
Handle electronic claims submission, investigation, resubmitting, claim resolution, and appeal denied claims
Obtain prior authorizations as needed
Create Excel spreadsheets and use Google Sheets
Perform other administrative duties

Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma
Must have previous office experience
Must have insurance verification and claim resolution experience
Must have experience in recording and reconciling payments, as well as, following up with clients regarding unpaid balances
Must have an articulate, friendly, and professional phone voice
Must have excellent customer service, communication skills
Must be able to create Excel spreadsheets or utilize Google Sheets

Only candidates that can pass a background check will be considered. Any candidate that has mental health billing experience is a plus
