Crocker & Starr Winery in St. Helena, Napa Valley is seeking strong and happy individuals for harvest 2024. Interns will be exposed to all aspects of harvest: grape samples, analysis, grape processing, assembling/operating all winery equipment, additions and more. The successful candidates will be exposed to eight grape varieties from our organic/regenerative vineyard. Production is conducted in our Napa Green certified winery and our interns will learn how to reduce waste and how to make wine without additives. Our wine team is committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of wine industry and agronomy professionals. The successful applicant must be flexible, ethical and perform every task with detail and precision. Our small yet mighty team wears many hats where no job is too small. • Grape sampling, sample processing/analysis
• Assembling/operating/maintaining harvest and cellar equipment
• All harvest production operations – grape processing, fermentation management, additions, draining/pressing, barrel maintenance and filling
• Assist with database management – experience with Innovint a plus
• Lab analysis – brix/temp, pH, NTU, FSO2, VA
• Facility maintenance
• Tasting & blending with winemaking team
• Certified forklift experience a plus
