Job Description

Position Summary:

Our Buffalo, New York office has an opportunity for an entry-level associate to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice. Attorneys who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation and advice and counsel, are encouraged to apply. This role requires extensive contact with clients representatives, governmental agencies and opposing counsel.

 

Duties include all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, but are not limited to, developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems, litigation and trial work, and resolving governmental and workplace investigations.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in New York. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
  • Candidates must possess 1+ years of employment litigation experience.
  • We expect this attorney to provide excellent written and analytical work and to contribute to a respectful, collegial office environment.
  • Outstanding academic record preferred (Top 25% of law school class).

Benefits:

In accordance with New York State’s PayTransparency Law, the expected salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $140,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position qualifies for the staff benefits listed below.
