Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Number of Positions: 2 (1 in Alpena, MI & another in Petoskey, MI)

Unit Name: ICU
Shift: 12 Hour Nights / No Call / Every Other Weekend (36 Hour Guarantee)
Locations: Alpena, MI, 49707 & Petoskey, MI, 49770 

"Weekly Blended Pay:  $2215/Week" [Might vary according to location]

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 5-week assignment. This role involves performing a variety of integrated functions using the nursing process and applying broad nursing knowledge in a compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment:

  • Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs.

• Care Coordination:

  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to the patient's real and/or perceived needs.

• Patient Evaluation:

  • Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path.

• Collaboration:

  • Consult and collaborate with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care.

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of ICU nursing experience (Required)
  • Prior travel nursing experience (Preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in a non-floating role (Required)

• Skills:

  • Comfort with EKG interpretation (Required)
  • Experience in Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma nursing (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in managing ventilators (Preferred)
  • Experience with CRRT and Balloon Pumps (Preferred)
  • Willingness to float to all critical care floors (ICU/PCU FLOAT POSITION) (Required)

• Technology:

  • Epic experience (Highly Preferred)
