QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
2. Willingness to take responsibilities.
3. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and be able to walk alone, turn, pivot and bend as needed to perform all of the duties listed under "Responsibilities" of this job description.
4. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Universal Precautions and the rules governing hazardous waste and products and Blood Borne Pathogens.
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the job is to 12rovide adequate assistance to the cook in oreparation of all meal service. Plus any other auties assigned by the Supervisor.-.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
l. Assisting Cook in setting up and covering desserts.
2. Pouring and covering beverages.
3. Setting up trays which includes lifting and transferring food and dishes which weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
4. Setting tables.
5. Helping to serve trays and dining room.
6. Bussing of tables and trays.
7. Clean-up of work areas.
SPECIAL DEMANDS:
1. Willingness to work for best interest of institution.
2. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
3. Ability to move from one assignment to another and do all of them quickly and well.
4. Set up tray in manner Supervisor has established.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
I. Time allowed for each of several jobs.
2. Interpret tray cards so that proper beverages and desserts are put on each tray.
