LaSalle Network is collaborating with a prominent healthcare provider to seek out an experienced Certified Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician . Certified Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Receive, review and accurately process prescription prior authorization requests
• Conduct outreach calls to obtain necessary clinical criteria forms/progress notes
• Communicate drug formulary guidelines, prior authorization criteria and plan benefit design to participants, providers and pharmacies
• Resolve escalated participant issues and claims issues
• Utilize basic Excel functions and track metrics

Certified Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in processing prior authorization
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Patient, provider and pharmacy customer service experience preferred
