What’s a typical day as a Cash Application Specialist? You’ll be:

• Processing cash receipts and posting them to customer accounts, including credit card payments, adjustments, and account write-offs

• Ensuring proper posting of inter-company transfers and non-customer payments

• Identifying unapplied amounts and resolving discrepancies

• Maintaining records for auditing purposes, including filing remittances, bank statements, and approved write-offs

• Handling intercompany payment settlements

• Collaborating with collections and deductions specialists

• Issuing customer refunds

• Balancing cash received on a weekly basis

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience in cash application or a similar role

• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Have the ability to resolve discrepancies and solve problems

• Are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
