Job Purposes::

4. Perform duties as Clinical Education Coordinator

Required Qualifications::

• An earned Master's degree or above in Athletic Training or related field.
• Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer ( BOC ) certified and eligible for OH State Licensure.

Preferred Qualifications::

• Minimum of 5 years of documented experience in the field of athletic training. Experience must include clinical practice as an athletic trainer that includes administrative responsibilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the baccalaureate or graduate level.
• Prior experience as a clinical coordinator for a CAATE -accredited program.
• Terminal degree.
• Social media and recruitment experience.

Essential Functions and percent of time::

50% Teach courses in the athletic training program
40% Clinical Coordinator/Administrative duties including, but not limited to: oversight of student clinical progression, student assignment to athletic training clinical experiences and supplemental clinical experiences, clinical site evaluation, student evaluation, regular communication with preceptors, professional development of preceptors, and preceptor selection and evaluation
10% Service to College/University
