Basic Job Functions: The Assistant General Manager assists in directing service center operations through a team of warehouse and customer service personnel. The position ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving service center efficiency. Additional Functions:

• Works closely with all other departments to leverage the total capabilities of the company in creating A Better Experience for our family of C.H.I. Dealers.
• Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development
• Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
• Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
• Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
• Coordinates sales with operations and customer service.
• Insures all employees perform their tasks in a safe manner
• Balances work capacity across the warehouse
• Determines operations head count needs and ensures compliance with company policies
• Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects
• Manages compliance with state and federal regulations
• Capable of performing all warehouse positions and being willing to seep into different positions as needed
• Completes any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor
• Assisting the Supervisor in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy
• Promotes Company core values

• Two years of previous sales and/or management experience.Preferred Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales and/ or management is preferred.
